Helen's Bay eco-house

This new build eco-scheme, is adjacent to a woodland area of Helen's Bay.  The Treetop sustainable design is created with a view to maximising the potential for bio-diverse habitats around the proposals whilst minimising the environmental footprint and impact of the build upon the existing site.

 

This approach has been factored into every decision of the design proposal, including the selection of environmentally friendly low carbon building materials, orientating the property to work within the existing contours of the site and to avoid impacting the surrounding mature trees, introducing biodiversity measures to protect and enhance priority NI species, and minimising energy use through the use of super-insulants that will be combined with sustainable energy systems.

Planning approval was achieved in September 2022.
